Deepika’s father is Prakash Padukone who has played badminton at international level for India and won the All England Championship in 1980. Deepika’s mother is a travel agent and she has a younger sister named Anisha Padukone.Deepika’s mother tongue is Konkani. She is fluent in many languages like
Konkani, Kannada, Marathi, Hindi and English.

Then about the screen appearances of our heroine, Deepika Padukone has branched out from modeling into acting. Deepika started her carreer by starring in the music
video for “Naam Hai Tera” a song from the pop album “Aap Ka Suroor”, an album by the famous Himesh Reshammiya.
