Chotiros Suriyawong's dress in the Golden Swan awards ceremony

Heroine of Suai Samurai
Plugging necklines and climbing hemlines are treated as as easy ticket to fame (remember Anna Nicole Smith). But for aspiring Thai actress Chotiros Suriyawong dresing down may have just jammed the brakes on her career before it rolled off.The sexy black dress she wore to Thailand's version of Oscars received a little too much attention:it was said to be too sexy for the Thai culture. She has been sacked from her film Suai Samurai, ordered to make a public apology and book-read to the blind for 15 days.Less is proving a little too much for her.

Description of Chotiros Suriyawong's dress

The black dress in question was long, body-hugging and split from Chotiros Suriyawong's cleavage to her hip by an eight-centimetres wide slit held together by the thin strips of the fabric.

The dress is said to have been inspired by Elizabeth Hurley's infamous Versace safety-pin dress, which grabbed the spotlight for the British beauty when she wore it to a London film premiere in 1994.
