Trisha is the leading actress after Jyothika has married.When the two Malayalam actress Asin and Nayanthara entered to the scene, they went to the leading roles in the Tami Film Industry.But now Trisha came back to the Tamil Films now she regained her top spot.
Some Gossips heard that even today, the roles that have gone to Asin and Nayanthara were first offered to Trisha.Her entry into films was through a beauty contest. It was the Malayalam Film Directror Priyadarshan who gave Trisha the first break in Lesa Lesa. Trisha, a thin, tall girl, burst onto the Tamil film scene when most of the heroines were gone out of the race wth her.
Trisha toppled Simran from the top position, delivering hit after hit with Vijay and Vikram. Unfortunately, Trisha got only an ornamental place in those films.So Trisha moved to Telugu films as she was offered better roles than the Tamil.
